Part of the Baxter Arts Centre’s mandate is to operate as a community centre for the benefit of the general public. As such, the Baxter Arts Centre is available for rent, whether for private or public events.

A bit about our space:

Our bright, beautiful and historic space is the perfect blank canvas to host your event.  We offer several amenities to enhance your rental experience. 

​

For your basic rental, BAC offers:

• Room interior, 25 feet by 70 feet, with ceiling height of 10 feet

• Entire floor is painted wood with epoxy finish

• Two washrooms; one is accessible 

• Kitchen has prep counters, double sink, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, hot plate and a small amount of tableware, glassware and utensils. No oven or cook top.

• Pull-down projection screen with possible use of projector

• Folding tables and chairs available

• Folding padded chairs 

• Rolling blackboard/whiteboard

• A piano (not necessarily tuned, but a great photo op!) 

• Nest programmed heating and air conditioning.

• FREE wifi

• Drop cloths, easels and drawing donkeys

• SOCAN/RE-SOUND license (does not include live music)

Community Group/Non-Profit/New Entrepreneur - Hourly Rate ($10)

Recurring Private/Community Event (ie Birthday Party) - Hourly Rate ($30)

Full Day Use ($300)

Out-of-Town Business Use - Full day Only ($300)

First Time Renter -  Security Deposit ($150)

Social Media Push OR Newsletter ($10)

Social Media AND Newsletter ($25)

The building may be rented anytime between 8am and 11pm, Monday through Sunday. The rent charged is for the use of the space only. Additional costs may apply (cleaning, AV rental, etc.) A bulk booking discount will be offered to those booking five or more rentals as part of a single booking.
